The Town (Al-Balad)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after Q (Qaaf) before The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Nay! I swear by this city 1 And you are free to live upon it, -- 2 And the parent and the offspring, 3 that We have created the human being to face a great deal of hardship. 4 Does he think then that no one has power over him? 5 He says: "I have wasted a great deal of wealth." 6 Does he, then, think that no one sees him? 7 Have We not given him two eyes, 8 And a tongue and two lips? 9 And showed him two highways (of good and evil)? 10 But he has made no effort to pass on the path that is steep. 11 And what will explain to thee the path that is steep?- 12 To free a neck (from the burden of debt or slavery), 13 the giving of food upon the day of hunger 14 To an orphan near of kin. 15 Or to a Miskin (poor) afflicted with misery. 16 the believers who cooperate with others in patience (steadfastness) and kindness. 17 Those who do so are the people of the right hand, 18 But those who deny Our revelations are the people of the left hand: 19 On them will be Fire vaulted over (all round). 20
Almighty God's Truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
