The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night when it covers 1 And the day resplendent 2 And Him who created the male and female, 3 Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse. 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And accepts the best, 6 for him shall We make easy the path towards [ultimate] ease. 7 As for him who was a miser and behaved with aversion (to Allah), 8 and denied the Truth of goodness: 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 His wealth will not avail him when he falls into ruin. 11 Surely, in Our hands is guidance, 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 I have now warned you of a Blazing Fire, 14 in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner, 15 Who belieth and turneth away. 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 Who giveth away his substance that he may be cleansed, 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; 20 And he shall soon be well-pleased. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.
