The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL THE night to witness when it covers over, 1 and by the day as it appears radiantly, 2 And by Who created the male and female, 3 Your striving is most surely (directed to) various (ends). 4 As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah) 5 And believeth in goodness; 6 We shall surely ease him to the Easing. 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and he belied the finest 9 For him We shall ease the way of adversity, 10 and his wealth shall be of no avail to him when he perishes. 11 Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance. 12 and to Us belongs the Hereafter as well as the present world -- 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 None shall enter it save the most wretched, 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 But the righteous one will avoid it - 17 even he who gives his wealth. to purify himself 18 And no one has with him any boon for which he should be rewarded, 19 seeking only the Face of his Lord, the Most High, 20 Will surely be gratified. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
