The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night enshrouding 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 and by Him Who created the male and the female: 3 Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes); 4 As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah) 5 and confirms the reward most fair, 6 We will pave his way to ease. 7 And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah), 8 And gives the lie to the best,- 9 So We will very soon provide him hardship. 10 and what will his wealth avail him when he goes down [to his grave]? 11 Surely, it is for Us to provide guidance -- 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 where none shall burn except the most wicked, 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 Far removed from it will be the righteous 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 and confers no favour on any man for recompense, 19 except the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High 20 and the reward (of their Lord) will certainly make them happy. 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
