The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the night, when it envelops, 1 By the day when it appeareth in glory, 2 and That which created the male and the female, 3 O men, you truly strive towards the most diverse ends! 4 As for he who gives and fears Allah 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 Surely We will ease his way unto the state of ease. 7 But as for him who is a miser, and self-sufficient, 8 And disbelieveth in goodness; 9 We shall pave his way to hardship, 10 And his substance will avail him not when he perisheth. 11 Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide, 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 Therefore I have warned you of a Fire blazing fiercely (Hell); 14 whereat none but the most wretched shall be roasted, 15 Who belieth and turneth away. 16 But save him who fears 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 and confers no favor upon anyone for recompense 19 But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. 20 And indeed, soon he will be very pleased. 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
