The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night, when it envelops, 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 and by that (Power) which created the male and female, 3 Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends! 4 As for one who gives [to others] and fears [God], 5 and believes in the finest, 6 We will facilitate for him the easy end. 7 And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah), 8 and he belied the finest 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 And his wealth will not avail him when he perishes. 11 Surely, in Our hands is guidance, 12 and to Us belong the hereafter and the worldly life. 13 I have warned you about the fierce blazing fire 14 where none shall burn except the most wicked, 15 He who denieth and turneth away. 16 and from which the cautious shall be distanced. 17 one who gives his wealth to become purified, 18 They do not expect any reward 19 He desires only to please his Lord, the Supreme. 20 He verily will be content. 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
