The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the night as it envelops; 1 and by the day when it breaks in its glory, 2 By Him Who hath created the male and the female, 3 O men, you truly strive towards the most diverse ends! 4 As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah) 5 and believes in the truth of the ultimate good 6 We shall facilitate for him the Way to Bliss. 7 But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, 8 And gives the lie to Al-Husna (see Verse No: 6 footnote); 9 We shall pave his way to hardship, 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 Surely it is for Us to show the Right Way, 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 none shall enter it but the most wicked, 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 And avoid it shall the most pious, 17 [He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself 18 And is under no one's obligation to return his favour, 19 He desires only to please his Lord, the Supreme. 20 surely, he shall be satisfied. 21
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
