The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the night enshrouding 1 And the day when it shines in brightness, 2 And by Who created the male and female, 3 your striving is indeed to different ends! 4 Yet he who gives to others and has fear, 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 We will facilitate for him the easy end. 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and he belied the finest 9 We shall facilitate for him the way to Hardship, 10 and his wealth shall be of no avail to him when he perishes. 11 BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance; 12 And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]. 13 Now I have warned you of a Fire that flames, 14 None shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones 15 Who belieth and turneth away. 16 For, distant from it shall remain he who is truly conscious of God: 17 one who gives his wealth to become purified, 18 And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 Except only the desire to seek the Countenance of his Lord, the Most High; 20 He will surely be well-pleased (with him). 21
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
