Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
