The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
