The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
