Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
