The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
