The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
