Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
