The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
