Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
