The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the midmorning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
