The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
