The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
