The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
