Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
