The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
