The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
