Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
