The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
