The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
