Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the white forenoon 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
