Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
