The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
