Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
