Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
