11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
