The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
