The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning brightness 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
