The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
