Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
