Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
