The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
