Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
