Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
