The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the midmorning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
