Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the midmorning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
