Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
