Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
