Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
