The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
