Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the midmorning, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
