Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
