The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
